HPCL Apprentices Eligibility Criteria

| Qualification | Engineering Graduates in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation streams who
have completed Engineering Graduation after 01-04-2023 onwards are eligible to
apply. Candidates who have completed engineering prior to 01-04-2023 are not eligible

HPCL Apprentices Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 02-03-2026. Max. Age relaxation by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC and 10 yrs. for PwBD (VH/HH/OH/MD) Candidates.
HPCL Apprentices Selection Process
- Applications will be screened based on the merit percentage (marks) according to eligibility criteria and prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade and the number of training slots notified in the detailed advertisement
- Incomplete or ineligible applications will be summarily rejected without any intimation
- Candidates shall be called for verification of documents / certificates in order of merit in a ratio of 1:5 with respect to training slots notified / available. Shortlisted candidates will be communicated through the registered email. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing for the document verification process
- A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates reported for document verification process and found suitable as per the eligibility.
- The candidate shall be engaged in merit order on accepting tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS website and submission of a medical certificate in the prescribed format and police verification by the candidates.

HPCL Apprentices How to Apply
- Step 1: First register on Apprentice Application Linkhttp://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp using the option – Sign up for New Registration
- Step 2: Once candidates have registered, they will receive details of their login and password on their email ID as provided for registration from HPCL Apprentice Team
- Step 3: Sign in to the HPCL Apprentices Application Link http://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp through the login credentials (email ID and password) as received over their registered email ID
- Step 4: Please note candidates are allowed to fill only one Application. Multiple application will be rejected.
- Step 5: Candidates are requested to carefully read the instructions mentioned on each part of the Application Form
- Step 6: Select the Engineering Branch from the dropdown as per the Engineering Branches mentioned in the Advertisement.
- Step 7: Candidates are required to fill their Personal Details as mentioned on the application form. The fields marked * are mandatory.
- Step 8: Once candidates have filled their personal details, click on Validate your details. In case of error, please fill the data correctly as per error message.
- Step 9: Once validated, click on Save & Next to move to next part of application form
- Step 10: Candidates are next required to fill their details Contact Details. Candidates are requested to correctly provide their address for correspondence and permanent address along with contact number
- Step 11: Candidates are also required to select State of Training from the dropdown. Candidate can select only one state of preference.
- Step 12: Click on validate your details, save & next to move to next part of Application FormQualification Details.
- Step 13: As part of last part of application form, candidates are required to upload their recent Passport sized photograph and their Signature.
- Step 14: Candidates are requested to recheck the details filled in application form under Preview and in case of any corrections, click on the section/Back and edit the details.
- Step 15: Candidates are requested to read the declaration carefully
- Step 16: For final submission of the application form, check the boxes of declaration and click on Final Submit.
- Step 17: After submission of the application, candidates will receive confirmation email on their registered email ID with HPCL Application Number.
