The posting of Executive Trainees shall be at CSL, Kochi/ CSL Mumbai Ship Repair Unit (CMSRU), Mumbai/ CSL Kolkata Ship Repair Unit (CKSRU), Kolkata/ CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU), Sri Vijaya puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
CSL reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies or not to fill up the vacancies or cancel the recruitment process, as per its requirement.
CSL Executive Trainee Age Limit & Relaxation
(i) The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall be 27 years as on 20 February 2026, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 21 February 1999.
(ii) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years
for SC/STcandidates only for consideration to the posts reserved for the respective categories.
For the posts of Executive Trainee (Human Resource/Finance), age relaxation for Persons with
Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) shall be as per Government of India guidelines.
CSL Executive Trainee Selection Process
- Phase I- Objective Type Online Test (60 marks)
- Phase II – Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills and Personal Interview (40 marks)
- Mark lists for each post shall be prepared on the basis of marks
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Test
- Rank lists for each post shall be prepared based on the aggregate marks
- Selected candidates will inform by CSL
