#Provided that
1. There shall be age relaxation in respect of the Scientific & Technical officers working on regular basis in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and its organizations as per the extant rules in vogue from time to time in the Central Government;
2. There shall be age relaxation in respect of the Scientific & Technical officers working on regular basis in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and its organizations as per the extant rules in vogue from time to time in the Central Government;
3. The Central Government may relax the upper age limit for all categories in case of highly experienced candidates in specialized scientific areas.
4. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for serving Civilian Central Govt. Employees working (on
regular basis) in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised posts.
