BEL Deputy Manager Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the post, the candidates should ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement. Candidates are required to possess one valid and active e-mail id, which is to be mentioned in the online application form. Information pertaining to the Written Test and other correspondence will be sent by e-mail to the email ID furnished by the candidate. Under no circumstance candidate should share e-mail ID of any other person. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidates. No change in the email ID or mobile number will be allowed once entered.

BEL Deputy ManagerAge Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit for General/EWS candidates applying for the above post is 28 years as on 01.03.2026 and the upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC (NCL)
candidates by 3 years and for SC/ST candidates 5 years. For candidates belonging to
PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation
in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above. For the ExServicemen relaxation in age will be as per Government guidelines.

BEL Deputy Manager Selection Process
- Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the written test.
- The minimum qualifying marks is 35% for General/OBC (NCL) /EWS candidates and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in both written test and interview separately.
- Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5.
- The written test will be conducted for duration of 90 minutes comprising of 85 Questions, consisting of Technical and General Aptitude Questions. Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark.
- Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the written test and interview. The weightage for written test is 85 marks and interview is 15 marks.
- Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted are required to log on to the BEL website and enter their credentials to access and download their written test call letter. Candidates are required to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent separately through e-mail or through conventional mail.
- Candidates, whose applications are accepted through the process of submission of online applications, are eligible to attend the written test at the respective centre. The call letters will be uploaded on the BEL website.
