| Qualification | Engineer (RE – Civil): Full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) in Civil Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Engineer (RE – Electrical): Full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) in Electrical / Electrical or Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Electronics / Power Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Engineer (RE – Mechanical): Full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering / Production & Industrial Engineering / Power Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Preference for ME/M.Tech. Engineer (RE – Safety): Full-time Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Civil/Power Engineering with at least 65% marks + full-time Diploma in Industrial Safety (or Full-time Engineering Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety with 65% marks). Executive (RE – Human Resource): Graduates with at least 2 years full-time PG Degree/Diploma/Program in Management with specialization in HR / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management or MHROD or MBA (HR) with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Executive (RE – Finance): Qualified CA/CMA. Executive (RE – CSR): Full-time PG Degree/Diploma/Program in Rural Management / Rural Development / Displacement / Resettlement / Rehabilitation / Community Development / Local Governance / Livelihoods / Social Entrepreneurship / Social Development / Sustainable Development / Development Studies or MSW or MBA or Graduate in Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Executive (RE – Rajbhasha): Full-time Master’s Degree in Hindi (with English) or English (with Hindi) or any subject with Hindi & English as compulsory/elective subjects/medium as per detailed criteria. |
| Experience | Engineer (RE – Civil): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in Geotech / piling / foundation / structural steel / tower structures / switch yard etc. RE experience preferred. Engineer (RE – Electrical): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in switchyard / electrical testing / transmission system / transformer / Design / Engineering. RE experience preferred. Engineer (RE – Mechanical): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in supervision/execution related to power generation in Thermal/Gas/Hydro/Nuclear/Renewables. RE experience preferred. Engineer (RE – Safety): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in safety (preferably power/manufacturing industry). RE experience preferred. Executive (RE – Human Resource): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in HR functions / Industrial Relations. SAP, MS Office, Data Analytics knowledge preferred. Executive (RE – Finance): Minimum 01 year post-qualification executive experience (excluding articleship) in Finance/Accounts. Executive (RE – CSR): Minimum 03 years post-qualification executive experience in socio-economic surveys / stakeholder consultation / CSR activities under Companies Act / need assessment / social impact assessment etc. Executive (RE – Rajbhasha): Minimum 03 years post-qualification experience of using/applying terminology in Hindi or translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa in Central/State Govt / UTs / Autonomous bodies / PSUs / Universities / recognized institutions. |
NGEL Executive & Engineer Recruitment Age Limit and Relaxation
Upper Age limit is 35 years for Engineer (RE-Civil, RE-Electrical, RE-Mechanical, RE-Safety) and Executive (RE-Human Resource, RE-Finance, RE-CSR, RE-Rajbhasha). Age relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC/PwBD/XSM candidates applicable as per Government guidelines.
