    BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

    Age Limit18 - 40 Years as per post (as on 01/08/2026)
    GenderBoth Male & Female are eligible
    Educational and Training QualificationAs prescribed by NCTE for the respective school level. Special school teachers require RCI-recognised qualification.

    TET Requirement:
    Primary (1–5): CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I
    Middle (6–8): CTET Paper-II or BTET Paper-II
    Secondary (9–10) & Special: STET Paper-I
    Higher Secondary (11–12): STET Paper-II

    Teachers appointed before 2012 who cleared Dakshata Pariksha are exempt. Candidates appearing in STET 2026 may apply provisionally but must qualify before the Preliminary Exam.

    Qualification:
    Primary: Senior Secondary + 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed or Graduation + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE).
    Middle: Graduation + D.El.Ed / B.Ed or 4-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed with subject combination.
    Secondary: Graduation/Post-Graduation (relevant subject, min 50%) + B.Ed.
    Higher Secondary: Post-Graduation (relevant subject, min 50%) + B.Ed.

    BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment Salary

    BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment Age Limit and Relaxation

    For BPSC TRE 4.0, the base maximum age is 37 years for unreserved males, with relaxations up to 40 years for unreserved females and BC/EBC candidates, 42 years for SC/ST candidates, and up to 47 years for persons with disabilities as of August 1, 2026.

    BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment How to Apply

    • Step 1: Visit https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR) using a valid email and mobile number.
    • Step 2: Link DigiLocker (Meri Pehchan) for document consent or proceed via browser.
    • Step 3: Log in and complete the six-step profile (Personal, Address, Other, Qualification, Experience, Photo/Signature). Upload live webcam photo and Hindi + English signatures.
    • Step 4: Lock the profile after review.
    • Step 5: Select Advertisement No. 14/2026, choose post/subject and up to 38 preferred districts in priority order.
    • Step 5: Pay the application fee online via SBI gateway
    • Step 6: Submit the Application Form
    • Step 7: Download and print the confirmed application form for records.
