IOCL Apprentice Recruitment Stipend
The rate of stipend payable to Apprentices shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, the Apprentices Rules, 1992, and other applicable amendments/guidelines issued from time to time. In addition to the statutory stipend, Apprentices shall be paid ₹2,500/- per month towards miscellaneous expenses by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (MD), NR.
For Graduate and Technician Apprentices, a portion of the stipend is disbursed directly into the Apprentice’s bank account by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
It is essential that the candidates have an Aadhaar seeded bank account that is enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for receiving the Government’s share of stipend from BOAT as well as their account details, APAAR ID and e-KYC are correctly updated/verified on NATS portal.
Trade Apprentices(NAPS apprentices) would be receiving the stipend in full, from Indian Oil Corporation Limited(MD),NR.
However, the above shall be subject to change as per guidelines and advice from Government/ Board of Apprenticeship Training/ National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) or any such body stipulated by the Act/ Rules for issuing guidelines regarding Apprenticeship, from
time to time.
