Specialist Medical Officer: Recognized MBBS + Permanent Registration + Compulsory Internship + PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty + 1½ years experience after PG Degree or 2½ years after PG Diploma. Medical Officer: Recognized MBBS (Allopathic) + Permanent Registration from MCI/NMC/State Medical Council + Compulsory rotating internship (candidates undergoing internship may apply provided they complete it before appointment). |

ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment Age Limit and Relaxation
Age is reckoned as on the closing date of receipt of application (08/09/2026).

ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment Salary
In addition to basic pay, officers are entitled to Non-Practicing Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances admissible under Central Government orders/provisions, as amended from time to time. No Post Graduate allowance is admissible, since a Post Graduate degree/diploma (or graduate degree/diploma in a particular field of specialization, as applicable) is the basic essential qualification for the post.
