| Qualification | Draughtsman: 10+2 with Science subjects from a recognized Board and a 2-year Certificate in Architecture/Draughtsmanship from a recognized institute; OR 2-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Draughtsman (Civil) with 1 year practical experience. Hindi Typist: 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent and Hindi typing speed of 30 WPM on computer (9000 KDPH). Store Keeper Technical: 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent with knowledge of storekeeping related to vehicles or engineering equipment. Desirable: 3 years experience in stores establishment; OR Passed Class II Course for Storeman Technical from Defence establishments. Operator (Communication): Matriculation from a recognized Board and Wireless Operator/Radio Mechanic Certificate from ITI or equivalent; OR Defence Trade Certificate with knowledge of Radio Technology; OR Passed Class I Course for Wireless Operator & Key Board from Defence establishments. OEM (OG): Matriculation from a recognized Board and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence; OR Dozer/Excavator Driving Licence with 6 months experience; OR Passed Class II Course of Operator Excavating Machinery from Defence establishments. BRO GREF Recruitment Age Limit and Age Relaxation
Age limit for all posts/trades is between 18 to 27 years as on 01 Jun 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for various categories. Government servants get relaxation up to 40 years (UR) and 45 years (SC/ST). PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation in upper age limit.Free Mock Tests

BRO GREF Recruitment How to Apply
- Step 1: Candidates should read the detailed instructions and guidelines available at https://bfsissc.com before applying.
- Step 2: Candidates shall apply offline only; no online application mode is available. Application form and admit card must be downloaded from the official BRO website (www.bro.gov.in) and filled in English or Hindi only, in capital letters. The application form must be printed on A4 size 75 GSM bond paper (one side only) and admit card printed on both sides of a single paper. Candidates must first pay the application fee online via SBI Collect portal and attach the e-receipt copy. Candidates applying for more than one post must send separate applications with separate fee in separate envelopes. Candidates are strongly advised to send applications well before the closing date and not wait for the last day - GREF Centre will not be responsible for postal delays.
- Step 3: Send Application (by Postal Service) to: Commandant, GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune - 411015
- Step 4: Printout / physical application is NOT to be sent anywhere else. No hard copy of admit card for written exam will be sent by post - admit card will be posted to the communication address given by the candidate in the admit card.
- Step 5: For queries: Visit https://www.bro.gov.in - all recruitment updates, results, and call letters will be displayed on the BRO website only.
