Central Silk Board (CSB) Scientist-B Age Limit
Upper age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications which is 31st March, 2026.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. It is relaxed by 10 years for PwBD-Unreserved, 13 years for PwBDOBC and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates. In addition, the age relaxation for Exservicemen (ESM) will be as per Government of India norms and as applicable.

Central Silk Board (CSB) Scientist-B How to Apply
- The candidates need to apply in online mode only to CSB for the post of Scientist- B through the website www.csb.gov.in
- Candidates should click on the “JOB OPPORTUNITIES/Recruitment/ Vacancies" under CSB's website www.csb.gov.in They should keep ready their Information Bulletin for ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) - 2025 Score Card, Admit Card Application & Roll Number before applying as it is mandatory to fill the Score Card and Admit Card details.
- Last Date for Receipt of Online Application: 31st March, 2026. No other mode ofAL SH application shall be accepted.
- Candidates belonging to Unreserved/EWS/OBC/Ex-Serviceman category are required to pay a non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only excluding taxes). The SC / ST / PwBD and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. There is NO Exemption for payment of fees in any other category.

He/ she would be prompted to upload the photo and signature Candidates should upload documents in support of their Age, Essential Educational Qualifications (only M.Sc. Degree & Consolidated Marks card), ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) - 2025 Score card, Reservation (if applicable), Experience (if applicable), Age relaxation certificate for Govt. Employee (if any) and Undertaking of no Criminal Proceedings. Payment can be paid only through online payment modes i.e. UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking etc. Candidates would be able to download the application only after successful of the payment. In case of exempted candidates, the print application would be enabled as soon as he/she completes step from (a) to (c).
- Documents to be uploaded: Candidate should Scan and Upload valid certificates to avoid rejection of his/her application Only PDF Files. The file should be less than 3MB in size.
- Candidates shall read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application from giving accurate information including INFORMATION BULLETIN FOR ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(PH.D) - 2025 AICE-JRF/SRF(PH.D) 2025 Score Card, Admit Card, Hall Ticket number and payment details. After applying online, candidates are required to download the registration slip generated by the system with a unique registration number. Copy of registration slip may be retained by the candidate for future reference. No document/slip is required to be sent to CSB by post or any other mode.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances and no request will be entertained in this regard. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the Application fee.
- Please ensure that the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(PH.D) - 2025 admit card number and score card which is mentioned on your ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(PH.D) - 2025 score card and admit card, is filled correctly. Name should be entered as appearing in ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(PH.D) - 2025 admit card/score card.
