| Qualification | Mandatory: MBBS from a recognized university/college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council. Preferred: Post Graduate Diploma OR Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS or equivalent). |
| Work Experience | - Candidates with only an MBBS degree need a minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Practitioner, counted from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration. - Candidates with a postgraduate degree need a minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Practitioner from the date of registration. - Internship experience and teaching/training experience will not be counted toward this eligibility requirement. |
