| Educational Qualification | Candidates must hold a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology in Mechanical, Production, Production & Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical/Railways, Mechatronics & Automobile, or a combination of the above disciplines in part or whole. |
| Experience | Candidates need a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in production or mechanical maintenance or other mechanical engineering areas, gained while working at a project site, factory, or plant. Training (except on-the-job training), internship, teaching, academic work, fellowship, or Ph.D. research experience will not be counted. However, Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, in the relevant discipline will be considered towards the minimum experience, subject to fulfilment of other eligibility conditions. |
